Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. The mission of our Evangelism Ministry is to facilitate and equip Christians as they compassionately and passionately share the Gospel, engaging in their communities, teaching, preaching, counseling and leading others to the saving knowledge of Christ.
Although Evangelism should be our lifestyle, EECD seeks to encourage believers in the church by setting aside specific months of the year to focus on evangelism.
In addition, every Monday afternoon, the evangelism team meets at EECD to pray together. The team then goes out to witness to members of the Denver/Aurora metro community.
The Evangelism ministry team is also responsible for putting together evangelistic outreach events, either in conjunction with other groups, such as the Children’s Christmas Production by the Children’s Church Ministry or Drama Night by the Young Adults Ministry or on its own through Street Evangelism Mondays.
All who have a burden in this area are welcome to join this ministry.
